Glenn
Ossiander Bio
Ossiander attended the Philadelphia College of Art, where he learned the skills that have led to a long successful career as a designer and art director in Philadelphia, New York, and Los Angeles. His passion for art continued to flourish, and in 1980, Ossiander set up a studio in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and began to paint.
Ossiander's painting has evolved over time. Colors have become more vivid, richer, and the mood has become mellower. Ossiander has had many regional and national exhibitions over the years and proudly hangs in many private, public and corporate collections.
It has always fascinated me that two people can look at the same image and see different things. My paintings make no attempt to represent anything in a direct way. I'm trying to evoke a sense of energy, mood and light. I've never been timid in using color. Where I live, along the coast, light is usually clear and clean, and the colors of the ocean, sky, mountains and foliage are brilliant.
